Secure portal allows parents to stay in touch with care providers
QualKids was started by a pediatrician who believed parents would benefit from up-to-date health information. This idea was expanded into a portal for child care centers and parents to communicate.

Challenge: Create an internet portal for child care centers and parents. ( www.qualkids.com
) Solution: Designed and deployed a business to business automation/ eCommerce solution
and consumer vertical portal.
- Created architecture for web-based child care center automation and vertical portal
for child care professionals and parents, including database driven content, and
online storage of business and personal records (including health records)
- Developed prototypes and concept sites for investor presentations
- Identified and engaged solution partners to develop third-generation web site
- Communicated IT plans to executive staff and members of the board
